  • CNE!

Without fail, every year I attend CNE (Canadian National Exhibition for those who don't live in Toronto) with somebody.  This was the first year that I ever went with someone I was seeing.  I was pretty excited to go because I always wanted to be one of those girls who were carrying a huge stuffed animal that their boyfriend won for them.  It may sound vain and materialistic but luckily, H wanted to win me something regardless. :)  And what does that mean~?

I GOT A HUGE DOMO!! :D  It's like half my height!  Kekeke.  Love it ♥

Look how big he is on my bed o__o ... Don't mind my messy room.  XD

Something that was new at the CNE this year was the Krispy Kreme burger.  I'm pretty sure it's not new in the states, but it's the first time it was ever in Canada.  So of course, I had to get it just to say I tried it.  It tasted exactly like what a donut and a burger combined together would taste like. :P

Mm~ Fat piled upon more fat~

I saw the Cat Show, the President's Choice Dog Show and a hypnotist.  I bugged H to go get hypnotized and he agreed that he wanted to do it once in his life.  :D  After the show he said he thinks he'll never want to be hypnotized ever again.  Aww, what's the fun in that? :P

It was a pretty successful day.  I got two mosquito bites and a really bad sunburn on one shoulder because I was wearing an off-shoulder top.  H got pretty bad burns on his arms and he burned quite a bit on his face too :/  Regardless, I had a lot of fun and I think he did too.  :)

  • I'm free!!!

No more PCAT, no more theory exams!  I'm done for the summer!

Let's just hope I did well on all of them so I don't have to go through the torture of all of them again next term. T^T

What does this mean?  Gaming from morning to night and trying to new baking recipes!!  Yippee~!

  • Procrastination

There's something about procrastination that everyone loves, or else they wouldn't keep doing it.

Procrastination is like the love of your life that broke your heart.  You swear you won't go back to him or her and make the same mistake again.  But when another opportunity comes, you'll take it over and over again.

Damn you procrastination!!  Stop roping me in :(

This time it's History 3 and Advanced Harmony exams.  D:  After these two I don't have to worry about studying until school starts!  ... That's only one month of a break.  Sad.

  • Birthday

The past Saturday was H's birthday and I spent the entire weekend with him.  I bussed to his place (a 40-minute commute) holding my bag full of overnight stuff, my purse, his present, and a cake.  I looked ridiculous walking all the way from my house to the bus stop.  I got tons of stares :P

Once I got there I gave him his present and we sat outside while he opened it.  He absolutely loved all the things that I got him (hopefully.  He said he did.)  Then we set off to Dave and Buster's.  Both of us never went before so I thought it would be a good idea to go on that day when we had all the time in the world.  It was rather fun and we killed a couple hours there eating lunch and playing games.

It was time to go to our hotel which I booked for the night at Hilton.  The room was rather nice!  We relaxed a bit there and then started to get ready for dinner at Auberge du Pommier.  We ended up getting lost a bit (sigh, like we always do), but we arrived there safe and sound and had a beautiful dinner.  The food was absolutely delicious and definitely worth the two bills it cost me.  We only go to high end restaurants during our birthdays.

Overall it was an amazing day.  H was super happy that we got to spend all day together.  It was rather cute to see him smile and thank me over and over about how the day was perfect.

The next day we went out to eat for dimsum!  He's korean so he doesn't get to eat it a lot.  I go out for dimsum all the time (I'm chinese, what do you expect?) so we decided to go for lunch.  We went to watch Friends with Benefits in the afternoon which turned out to be hilarious.  I thought it would be too similar to No Strings Attached, but I thought it was well done.  We spent the rest of the day just in front of my house talking to each other and napping in the car because we were so exhausted.

Overall, an absolutely perfect weekend.  Haven't had one of those since we went to visit his Ottawa home together alone.  <3

Creme brulee at Auberge du Pommier~ It was delicious. :)

  • Photoshoot

Like how I mentioned in a previous post, I did a photoshoot with a childhood friend who was nice enough to do it for me free of charge.  It was an absolute disaster trying to get the photos the correct size for wallet pictures, since the only way I could do it at the perfect size I wanted (2.3"x3.5") was to customize it into a 4"x6" picture.  When I went to print them at Walmart, they ran out of photo paper so I couldn't get them developed.  When I went to Shoppers Drug Mart, some of the photos were "corrupt" and I couldn't print them there either.  I ended up going home, finding out that the ones that were corrupt were too big, shrunk them, went back to Shoppers, and got them developed.  Finally.  Lucky for me, they printed them for me within 5 minutes (instead of the hour they usually make you wait for).  I got them laminated and finally they were done!

Here are just a few of the photos I have.

    I look super awkward.  XD
